Our 2nd Year with Farmers Project of Costa Rica

This is the second year we are working with the folks at Farmers Project Speciality Coffee to direct source coffee from Costa Rica.  We had this same coffee last year and were very excited to bring it in again.

The Coffee

Coffee from Costa Rica is always a big hit with our customers for the rich, sweet, buttery and citrusy flavor profiles that most Costa coffees deliver.  This coffee happens to be a honey processed (red honey) coffee which will add a layer of sweetness and complexity that takes the coffee to a new level.

This coffee packs a sweet, caramel, buttery feel with the conventional citrus and orange flavor notes found in most Costa coffees.  There are hints of brown sugar and blackberry with a syrupy finish.

Where this coffee works

Costa Rican coffees are crowd pleasers for a ton of reasons.  They're low to no acidity with a buttery texture and easy finish.  They work great no matter how you brew them -- drip, French press, cold brew or even as a single origin espresso.  Our medium roast fans love the feel of these coffees so much that they quickly become the best selling coffee on the shelf.
