Brazil Rio Brilhante Natural Processed (Light Roast)

Background

This natural processed coffee comes to us from our friends at Falcon Coffees and from the Cerrado Mineiro region or Brail.  We love spinning a Brazilian coffee as a light roast because it will have a richer, fuller body with a depth of flavor you won't see in dark roasts.

Flavor Profile

Brazilian coffees are a gem for light roasts because they offer a combination of a nuanced set of flavors from the natural process with a bigger body than you will find in a typical light roast.  This coffee starts off with a peanut aroma that will remind you of the smell of peanut butter and moves into a caramel, malty tone.  The taste has a combination of caramel and honey with a malty finish.  The smell and taste has a distinct, but not strong, peach and stone fruit taste too.  

Where This Coffee Works

Light roast fans will adore this coffee for the combination of nutty and mild fruit flavors that is a signature of natural processed Brazilian coffees.  Any medium or dark roast drinker will find something exotic and interesting because of the fuller body to this coffee and the easy drinkability.  If you normally avoid light roasts because you want to have a bigger flavor, you'll find a lot to like about this coffee.
